With everything being so uncertain at the moment, supermarkets running out of supplies and everyone being a bit more conscious of food and spending, we thought it might be helpful to put together a list of simple family meals that use just a handful of every day ingredients.
Pasta seems to be in high demand at the moment and I know that a lot of people are struggling to get hold of it in the shops, so for this reason, I have only included two pasta recipes here but these pasta sauces can also be used in other ways.
Try them mixed with rice or as a topping for chicken instead.
Sauces and soups are great for batch cooking so if you’re going to the trouble of making these then definitely make double and have a portion in the freezer for another day.
