Baked salmon fillets topped with a gently spiced marinade made with Schwartz Ground Cinnamon
Sponsored Post
We often associate cinnamon with sweet dishes, particularly cakes and desserts. But cinnamon is a wonderfully versatile spice that’s just as delicious used in savoury cooking too.
This week I’ve teamed up with Schwartz who have re-branded their jars of herbs and spices with a fresh new design and packaging which:
- Locks in the flavour with a freshness seal so that the herbs and spices last longer;
- Allows you to easily fit a teaspoon into the jars for quick and easy measuring; and
- Makes the jars stackable on your shelf, saving space!
To help celebrate this re-launch I’ve made four delicious and easy recipes using Schwartz Ground Cinnamon. Cinnamon is a wonderfully versatile spice that can be used in both sweet and savoury dishes. The first two recipes I’ve made are:
- Cinnamon Overnight Oats; and
- Cinnamon Smoothie
And today I’m sharing my recipe for this super easy but very tasty Cinnamon Spiced Salmon.
To make the marinade or glaze for the top, all you need to do is mix together Schwartz Ground Cinnamon, chilli powder, honey and oil together and spread it on top. Then bake in the oven for about 15 minutes and you have a delicious and nutritious dinner!
I served mine with some boiled rice and a salad. So tasty and so easy!
