A warming and gently spiced Cinnamon Smoothie made with Schwartz Ground Cinnamon and flavoured with peanut butter and banana

Sponsored Post

Despite the weather turning colder and the nights drawing in, I’m still making smoothies like it’s the height of summer! People often associate smoothies with the warmer months but I think a smoothie makes a perfect snack or addition to breakfast all year round.

This week I’ve teamed up with Schwartz who have re-branded their jars of herbs and spices with a fresh new design and packaging which:

  • Locks in the flavour with a freshness seal so that the herbs and spices last longer;
  • Allows you to easily fit a teaspoon into the jars for quick and easy measuring; and
  • Makes the jars stackable on your shelf, saving space!

To help celebrate this re-launch I’ve made four delicious and easy recipes using Schwartz Ground Cinnamon. Cinnamon is a wonderfully versatile spice that can be used in both sweet and savoury dishes. The first recipe I made were these tasty Cinnamon Overnight Oats and today I’m sharing my recipe for this delicious Cinnamon Smoothie.

The cinnamon adds a delicious warming effect to the smoothie and when combined with the classic flavours of peanut butter and banana, creates a really delicious drink that’s also packed with nutritious ingredients.

I’ve used cows milk and yogurt in my recipe but you can easily make it dairy free with non-dairy milk and yogurt alternatives.

If you try this recipe then please do leave me a comment and a star rating below. You can also share your pictures with me on Instagram. And follow along with other recipes using the hashtag #schwartz

For lots more recipe ideas using both cinnamon and other herbs and spices, head over to the Schwartz website.

Disclosure: I have been compensated for my time spent working on this campaign with Schwartz but all thoughts and opinions are honest and are my own.

    Really like the cinnamon in these! Makes a really nice change to our normal banana smoothies that we make.
