WIN a Week’s Worth of Shopping Vouchers plus a Prince’s Hamper!

November 12, 2017 by Ciara Attwell, Updated May 25, 2018

Liven up your mornings with this quick and easy breakfast idea, ideal for busy families! PLUS enter to be in with a chance of winning a week’s worth of shopping vouchers and a Prince’s Hamper!

Princes Mango with Juice served with yogurt, seeds and coconutAll this week I’ve been working with Princes to show how you can use their delicious range of tinned fruits to make quick and easy breakfasts that will help to get the whole family’s day of to a healthy start.

At this time of year, fresh fruit can be expensive and so Princes canned fruits are a brilliant and economical options. For lazy Mums like me they are ideal as there is not peeling or chopping required and the tins also keep for ages in the cupboard meaning less food waste.

Canned fruit can also count as one of your five a day (if consuming at least 80g of fruit per portion), making it a great option for both kids and adults!

Princes Mango with Juice served with yogurt, seeds and coconutFor the recipe for this tasty and super simple Mango & Yogurt breakfast idea, check out the video below. You can also see the recipes for some of my other ideas here:

Canned fruit would be lovely with some fromage frais on top of a sweet wafle, thats a treat breakfast my kids enjoy on the first day back to school. Always handy to have in the cupboard for a smoothie too.

I use canned fruit in my homemade breakfast bars. I find dried fruit to make the bars too hard so I drain canned fruit well and chop it up into small pieces. We, as a family, enjoy the bars as a quick breakfast or a healthy snack.
