These Jammy Tarts are a brilliant snack to whip up for the kids this Halloween.

Made with just two ingredients and some edible eyes, they’re fun to make and even more fun to eat!

six jam mummy wrap tarts laying on a over tray.

Start off with a tortilla wrap.

Use a round cutter to cut out six circles shapes from the wrap.

Circle shaped being made on the wrap using a round pastry cutter.

I used an 8cm cutter. If you use a bigger or smaller cutter you will get more/less circles.

You will be left with the wrap looking like this.

We’re going to use the remainder to cut out thin rectangle strips to add to the top of the tarts.

Some will be longer than others but that’s absolutely fine.

They don’t all need to be the same size.

Next, place the wrap circles on a baking tray and top with jam.

Any flavour of jam will work perfectly.

Finally, add the strips of wrap to the top. Push them down gently so that they stick to the jam.

Bake in the oven for 6 minutes.

When cooked, add two edible eyes to each tart, into the jam so that they stick.

WARNING – The jam will be super hot out of the oven so be sure to let these cool before serving to children.

I used mini wraps to skip the first step (and because it’s what we always have) and let the kids cut up a second into strips and make them themselves – which they loved! Great idea!
