This Gingerbread Spice Mix is packed with all the delicious flavours associated with Christmas and can be added to so many recipes from brownies, to cookies, granola to coffee!

There’s something about the test and smell of gingerbread spice at Christmas that you just can’t beat. You can be cooking or baking anything gingerbread flavoured and the whole house just smells so festive!

But rather than dragging out all the spices and measuring them out each time, you can make up a big batch of this mix and then you have it to hand whenever you need it!

How To Make Gingerbread Spice Mix

Making up the jars of the mix is easy. Simply add the following spices to a lidded jar and keep for up to 6 months.

  • Ground Cinnamon
  • Ground Nutmeg
  • Ground Ginger
  • All Spice

This is my favourite mix of spices to use but please do have a play around with the ingredients and measurements to find yours. This recipe is very versatile.

Gingerbread Spice Mix Recipes

Once made, this Gingerbread Spice Mix can be added to so many foods and recipes to give them a festive twist. Some of my favourite Gingerbread Recipes are:

Gingerbread Brownies

Gingerbread Granola

Frozen Gingerbread Hot Chocolate

Gingerbread Tiramasu

Gingerbread Ice Cream

Gingerbread Cookies

But you could also add it to porridge, coffee, cakes and so much more!

Made a batch of this a couple of weeks ago for the festive season and it’s been great! I’ve added it to loads of stuff.
