This has to be the easiest Halloween Recipes for Kids that I’ve made. No cooking or real prep required!

It’s really as simple as adding a bunch of different snacks into one container. A really brilliant Halloween recipe to make with the kids. Mess and stress free!

The beauty of trail mix is that you can add whatever you want to it. But here’s the ingredients that I used:

  • Popcorn
  • Pretzels
  • Mini Marshmallows
  • Wheetos
  • Peanut Butter Chips (can sub for Chocolate Chips)
  • A selection of black, orange and yellow sweets
Ingredients for Halloween trail mix

For the sweets I basically used anything that was vaguely Halloween coloured – white, black, brown, orange, yellow!

Add all the ingredients to a large jar or bowl and mix well.

To keep this Trail Mix fresh you need to use something with an airtight lid.

You can also pack it into individual bags and use for Halloween party favours or to hand out to trick-or-treaters.

The peanut butter chips obviously contain nuts but you can swap this for chocolate chips.

Product Recommendation

The jar I used is from Poundland and is a bargain at just £5. But here’s a similar one on Amazon.
