Description
Delicious snack bars made with just four simple ingredients. A great way to use up any leftover cereal that your kids no longer eat!
Ingredients
- 120g peanut butter
- 75g honey
- 90g cereal
- 150g milk chocolate
Instructions
- Add the peanut butter and honey to a jug and melt in the microwave.
- Add the cereal to a large bowl, pour in the peanut butter and honey mixture and mix well.
- Line a loaf tin with parchment paper and transfer the mixture into this.
- Press down well with the back of a spoon to make it as compact as possible.
- Melt the chocolate and pour this over the cereal mixture.
- Freeze for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Cut into 8 large slices or 16 smaller pieces.
Notes
These Cereal Bars will keep in the fridge for up to 4 days.
They can also be frozen for up to 2 months. They will defrost in half an hour at room temperature.
