This soup is really simple to make and is packed full of nutritious fresh spinach.

Spinach is one vegetable which can be really difficult to get kids to eat, but blended into a ghoulish Halloween soup like this makes it a lot easier to convince them to try it!

And if there’s one time in the year you can convince kids to eat something green it’s Halloween!

Start off by frying some onions in a saucepan and adding garlic, potatoes and stock.

Cook this for 15 minutes and then add a big bag of fresh spinach.

Cook this for another couple of minutes until the spinach has wilted and then add some creme fraiche.

Blitz with a hand blender until completely smooth.

I like to finish my Spinach Soup with a swirl of cream and some chilli flakes. But feel free to leave these off for the little ones!
