Can you batch cook pancakes?

Absolutely. Pancake batter can be made in advance and kept in the fridge overnight. This is a brilliant way to get ahead if you want to make pancakes for breakfast.

Simply whisk up the batter the night before and leave it covered in the fridge. Then in the morning all you need to do is fry and flip!

Cooked pancakes can also be frozen. Freeze them with sheets of parchment paper between them to stop them sticking. Then defrost in the microwave in just a couple of minutes.
