If you’ve been following my blog for some time now you’ll know that I am a massive fan of smoothies and shakes for kids!

Especially when they are packed full of nutritious ingredients.

And I am really excited to share today four delicious fruit and veggies smoothies that are bright, colourful and healthy too!

I worked with Waitrose to create these smoothies, using lots of products from their ranges.

Including the Good Health range which makes it really easy to incorporate healthy and nutritious food into a busy family lifestyle.

Healthy Smoothies For Kids

I made four different flavoured smoothies using a mixture of frozen fruit, fresh bananas and even some sneaky hidden veggies too!

All these smoothies are perfect to serve as part of breakfast for the whole family or even as an afternoon snack too.

I’ve set out the full recipes below and also check out my video showing exactly how I make them!

Quinoa Berry Smoothie

The first smoothie I made was this delicious Quinoa Berry Smoothie. I used frozen berries which are more affordable and convenient than fresh berries. Especially at this time of year and also cooked quinoa and greek yogurt for an added protein boost.

Tropical Green Smoothie

The second smoothie was this really tasty Tropical Green Smoothie. It’s the perfect smoothie in which to hid spinach for kids as the fruits make it super sweet!

Carrot & Orange Smoothie

Next up is my favourite Carrot & Orange Smoothie. I used Waitrose’s Sunshine Smoothie Mix which has carrot, mango, kiwi and butternut squash.

Then I added in some leftover cooked carrot and some orange juice for a delicious drink that’s sure to put a spring in your step in the morning! I also added some golden linseeds for added fibre and omega 3.

Chocolate Chia Smoothie

My fourth and final smoothie is this Chocolate Chia Smoothie. It tastes just like a chocolate milkshake! But is packed full of protein, fibre and omega 3’s and makes a delicious afternoon treat for kids!
