Really easy to make and packed with nutritious ingredients, these Salmon Pinwheels make an excellent lunch for kids either at home or packed into a lunchbox!
It’s so easy to get stuck in a rut when it comes to lunchtime. I’m either manically trying to prepare a packed lunch in the morning or rummaging through the fridge at midday trying to rustle something up for the little man! Either way, ham or cheese sandwiches tend to make an appearance a LOT!
But in an effort to get the kids to eat a wider variety of food I’ve started making these Salmon, Cream Cheese & Spinach Pinwheels.
Salmon is such a nutritious food to feed to kids. It’s an excellent source of protein and many vitamins and minerals and is of course a fantastic way of getting those all-important omega-3 fatty acids into your little ones!
