A delicious gooey chocolatey Nutella Microwave Mug Cake, ready in just a couple of minutes
- 2 tbsp nutella
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 0.5 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp chocolate chips
- Put the nutella in a cup and melt in the microwave for 20 seconds.
- Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa and baking powder together in a bowl. Add the egg and mix well. Add the melted nutella and chocolate chips. Stir the mixture until everything is well combined.
- Pour the cake mixture into two ramekins or small mugs and microwave each separately for 30 seconds. My microwave is 800 watt so you may need to adjust the cooking time to your own microwave.
**WARNING** This recipe obviously contains egg and although it is cooked in the microwave it is not cooked for a very long time. Pregnant women and any other people who have been advised to avoid raw or lightly cooked eggs should consider this when making this recipe.
