No Bake Chocolate Weetabix Bites

Description

A quick no bake snack for kids. High in fibre containing weetabix, oats, seeds and peanut butter. Great for batch making and keeping in the fridge or freezer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 weetabix
  • 30g oats
  • 2 tbsp mixed seeds
  • 100g peanut butter
  • 60ml milk
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder


Instructions

  1. Add the weetabix, oats and seeds to a food processor and blitz until they are broken down.
  2. Add the peanut butter, milk, honey and cocoa powder and blitz again until everything is well  combined.
  3. Take one tablespoon of the mixture at a time and roll into a ball shape.
  4. Place on a tray or plate and repeat with the remaining mixture, making 16 balls in total.
  5. Place in the fridge for 45 minutes or in the freezer for 20 minutes to firm up.

Notes

These bites will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. They can also be kept in the freezer for up to 2 weeks and will defrost at room temperature in about an hour.
