Jump To Recipe Print Recipe

Pop a couple of tubs of Cadbury's Dairy Milk Pot of Joy into a Ninja Creami tub, freeze then blend for a delicious frozen chocolate dessert!

When my friend asked if I'd tried the Cadbury's Dairy Milk Pots of Joy in the Ninja Creami I had to admit I hadn't even thought of that! But I was desperate to give it a try.

I love making homemade recipes in the Ninja Creami but it's also fun to try some different ideas with shop bought products too.

CAN YOU PUT POTS OF JOY IN THE NINJA CREAMI?

Absolutely! It's so easy and hardly counts as a recipe but I'll put some step-by-step photos below as I know it can be useful if children are following along.

  1. Add the contents of 2 Pots of Joy to a Creami tub.
  1. Add the lid and freeze for 24 hours.
  1. The following day add the frozen tub to the Ninja Creami machine.
  1. Blend on FULL and ICE-CREAM mode.

Mine was still a little powdery so I put it back in on the RE-SPIN setting and it came out perfect!

Variations

I'm definitely going to try some more variations of this over the summer. I think it would also work well with:

  • Cadbury's Caramilk Dessert Pot
  • Milky Way Dessert Pot
  • Cadbury's Oreo Dessert Pot
  • Rolo Dessert Pot

Storing Leftovers

Leftovers can be returned to the freezer in the tub.

Leave to defrost for about 10-15 minutes before eating it. You can also put it back into the machine, blending on a RE-SPIN mode if you prefer it softer.

Product Recommendation

I love these Ninja Blast. It's a cordless small blender and is really handy for blitzing up small portions of food and drinks. Much easier to clean than a big blender.
