Ninja Creami Gingerbread Ice Cream

Jump To Recipe Print Recipe

Ice Cream isn't just for the summer months. Make this delicious festive flavoured Gingerbread Ice Cream in the Ninja Creami this Christmas!

Three scoops of Ninja Creami Gingerbread Ice Cream, served in a red and white striped ice cream bowl and garnished with two mini gingerbread men biscuits.

Last summer I bought a Ninja Creami Deluxe. I used it so much when the weather was warm but honestly haven't used it much in the last couple of months.

But despite the weather being freezing I knew I wanted to drag it out again and make some Christmas inspired ice cream recipes.

First on my list to try was a Gingerbread Ice Cream. I adore anything gingerbread flavoured and this did not disappoint!

Not Sure Which Creami Model Is For You?

If you're looking to buy a Ninja Creami but not sure which one, check out my guide comparing all three models

How To Make Oreo Ice Cream in the Ninja Creami

The recipe is so easy but I've included some step by step instructions and photos below and the full instructions with all the measurements are in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.

  1. Add sweetened condensed milk, whole milk and double cream, along with the gingerbread spices to a freezer tub.
  1. Mix together with a spoon or a mini whisk.
  1. Pop the lid on and freeze for 24 hours.
  1. Blend on Full and Ice Cream mode.

You can dive straight into the ice cream at this point, but I added one more step by breaking up some Lotus Biscoff biscuits and adding these in.

Then blending again on Full and Mix-In.

Ingredients all together in the Ninja.

This adds a little more flavour and a subtle crunch to the ice cream which is just delicious!

Storing Ninja Creami Ice Cream

Leftover ice cream can be returned to the freezer in the tub.

Leave the ice cream to defrost for about 10 minutes before eating it. You can also put it back into the machine, blending on a RE-SPIN mode if you prefer it softer.

Ninja Creami Tubs

My Ninja Creami came with three tubs but I bought these extra tubs so that I can keep several bases in the freezer ready to use.

Description

  • Ice Cream isn't just for the summer months. Make this delicious festive flavoured Gingerbread Ice Cream in the Ninja Creami this Christmas!

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ tin (199g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 400ml whole milk
  • 150ml double cream
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ginger
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 4 Lotus Biscoff biscuits

To top:

  • Mini gingerbread men

Instructions

  1. Add the sweetened condensed milk, whole milk and double cream to a Ninja Creami freezer tubs.
  2. Add the cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg and mix well. I used a small electric whisk but mixing with a spoon is fine too.
  3. Add the lid on top and pop them into the freezer for 24 hours
  4. Place the tub in the outer bowl, add the lid and install the bowl into the Ninja Creami unit.
  5. Select FULL and ICE CREAM and blend.
  6. Create a hole in the ice cream and add the Lotus Biscoff biscuits broken up.
  7. Select FULL and MIX IN and blend again.
  8. If you want a smoother consistency, or you think the ingredients haven't fully mixed, select FULL and RE-SPIN to mix again.
  9. Serve with mini gingerbread men on top.

Notes

Leftovers can be returned to the freezer. Leave the ice cream to defrost for about 10 minutes before eating it. You can also put it back into the machine on a RE-SPIN if you prefer it softer.

Loved this so much. Was the first ice cream we made in our Creami (9 months after buying it). Even my very fussy (ADHD) 9 year old who ‘hates’ gingerbread loved this.
