Five mini chicken burgers presented on a large plate, garnished with lettuce, melted cheese and tomato ketchup, and held together with bright pick sticks. served alongside peas, raw carrots and strawberries.

Chicken is one food that I struggle to get my kids to eat. If it’s served it a sauce like a curry it’s ok but a simple chicken breast is a no-go!

I’ve made Mini Burgers before from beef meatballs so when I saw these Chicken Meatballs in Aldi I knew they’d be perfect to turn into Mini Chicken Burgers and test out on my picky eaters!

Raw chicken meatballs in their original Packaging.

I added them to a frying pan with oil and then pushed the meatballs down with the back of a spoon to create a flatter burger shape.

Cook for 4-5 minutes over a medium heat and then flip over.

Add a small slice of cheese to the top and cook for another 4-5 minutes.

Instead of burger buns I used toast, cut into a circle with an empty spice jar. It’s the perfect size to fit the mini burgers.

You add can some toppings to the burgers or leave them plain, depending on what your kids like.

Cooked mini burgers with melted cheese on top, alongside lettuce and three pieces of toast. ready to be constructed on a chopping board.

I added a leaf of baby spinach and some ketchup. Delicious!
