Turn meatballs into mini burgers. A really fun and easy lunch or dinner for kids!
Have you ever bought a packet of meatballs, made a few for the kids then wondered what to do with the leftovers? If so then you need to try my Mini Burger hack!
How To Make Mini Burgers
Simply squish the meatballs down to turn them into small burgers. The kids will love these!
Once you’ve flattened them down, add a little oil to a frying pan and fry them for 4-5 minutes on either side until browned and cooked through.
Whilst the mini burgers are cooking get everything else ready. I toasted some sliced bread and used an old spice jar to cut out circles. This made the perfect sized buns for the burgers.
Then all that’s left to do is to layer up the buns, the burger and any other toppings like lettuce, cheese, ketchup etc.
You can use a skewer to secure them but its not essential.

We recently hosted a big family BBQ and I made these for all the kids along with a few other bits and pieces. As my niece left she commented on how good the food was, Massive hit with the Ferris family.

These have been great! My 6 year old loves a burger but a normal sized quarter pounder is usually too much for her and we end up with waste which I hate! This is perfect for us. Will be making these loads I think!
