Summer is finally here! And I've found a way to make easy, cheap and healthy ice pops using just one ingredient... fruit juice!

Summer is finally here... and if your kids are anything like mine, you're going to spend the next couple of months listening to them beg for ice cream and popsicles! Whilst there's nothing wrong with occasional frozen treats, all that sugar and unhealthy fats can quickly add up, not to mention the cost.

So this summer I'm getting organised and stocking up the freezer with lots of healthy homemade frozen snacks, starting with these Fruit Juice Ice Pops. With just one simple ingredient, these ice pops are so easy to make and you can pretty much use any flavour of fruit juice you like.

To make these ice pops you will need a set of these silicone molds (US Readers - Get them here)  (UK Readers - Get them here) which you can wash and re-use all summer long!

Description

Summer is finally here! And I've found a way to make easy, cheap and healthy ice pops using just one ingredient... fruit juice!

Ingredients

  • Fruit Juice of your choice, I've used:
  • Orange Juice
  • Pineapple Juice
  • Apple Juice
  • Apple & Raspberry Juice
  • Mango Juice

Instructions

  1. Place the silicone molds into a plastic glass. Pour the fruit juice into the molds, leaving a small gap at the top. Put on the lids and then place the glasses with the molds straight into the freezer.
  2. Freeze overnight until completely solid.

Apologies, we hadn't realised that the links to the moulds aren't currently working on the blog post! You can get the silicone moulds from Amazon. x
