Family Meal Plan Week #4

Family Meal Plan Week #4

I’ve failed miserably at meal planning the last few weeks. Things have just been really hectic with both work and family life and I’ve pretty much been winging dinner time with a few takeaways thrown in!

This week is looking like it’s going to be just as busy but I’m determined to get a bit organised and plan out our meals. To make things easy for me I’ve chosen tried and tested recipes rather than experimenting with anything new and they’re all super quick to make too.

So here’s our meal plan for this week. If you guys have any tips or tricks for meal planning during busy periods please let me know!

Meal Plan w/c 5th December

Monday: Sausage Spaghetti. This recipe is so easy and I usually have all the ingredients at home. The kids love it too which is a bonus!

Tuesday: Thai Red Prawn Curry. This curry is really mild but packed full of flavour. Its also great if you want a meal that you can make ahead. I’ll serve this with rice.

Wednesday: Pitta Bread Pizza. Dinner is 5 minutes. Winner! I’ll serve this with some carrot, cucumber and pepper sticks.

Thursday: I’m out on Thursday, leaving in the afternoon so Daddy will be in charge. I might just make things easy for him and get some kids ready meals!

Friday: Salmon Nuggets. I find it hard to get my kids to eat salmon sometimes but these nuggets are really delicious and super crispy too despite being baked!

Saturday: One Pot Lentil Pasta. This is so simple, takes just 15 minutes and is all cooked together in one pot. One of my favourites!

Sunday: We are out for lunch in London at Jamie’s Italian where I know the kids portions are quite substantial so I might just make some cheese wraps with chopped veggies for tea when we get home.

If you guys try any recipes please do let me know what you think. Have a great week!

Thanks so much for sharing! Am going to do some of the same as you this week as I’m really bored of all our usual meals.
