Description
In less than 20 minutes you can make your own nachos at home. We love these for a fun weekend dinner. So easy to make and so delicious too!
Ingredients
- 1/2 tbsp oil
- 500g beef mince
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp mild chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp ground coriander
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1 beef stock pot
- 1 tbsp water
- 230g tortilla chips
- 80g grated cheddar cheese
For the toppings:
- Cherry tomatoes, peppers, spring onions, jalapenos
- Salsa, guacamole and sour cream
Instructions
- Add the oil and mince to a fry pan and cook for 5 minutes until the mince has browned.
- Add all the spices and mix together.
- Add the beef stock pot and water and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Add the tortilla chips to a large baking dish and top with the beef mixture.
- Add the grated cheese on top of the beef and place under the grill for 2 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Add the vegetable toppings and sauces and serve immediately.
Notes
This recipe is best eaten immediately after cooking.
