A delicious and healthy kid-friendly Chocolate, Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothie packed with hidden spinach and flaxseed for extra nutrition!

chocolate peanut butter & banana smoothie

Today I’m sharing one of my family’s most favourite smoothies. It’s so quick and easy to make and is a great after school snack for my kids.

Chocolate, peanut butter and banana is always going to be a winning combination but I add a sneaky handful of spinach for some extra nutrition and also some flaxseed.

My kids are not massive fish fans so flaxseed is a brilliant way of getting some Omega 3’s into them!

Super tasty! We used frozen bananas and frozen chopped spinach. And added a little maple syrup at the end.
Agree, no hint of spinach taste and super happy to add in a little extra iron and fiber!

Used half the milk, Costco’s peanut butter alternative, 3 dates + 1 tsp honey (out of bananas) and frozen spinach. Toddler win. Very chocolatey! Can’t taste the spinach. Thank you for something so simple!

This smoothie is really good! You can’t taste the spinach at all and a really easy way to get greens into the kids.
