Description

Chocolate Apple Slices. A great alternative to those big chocolate or toffee apples that kids love but never seem to eat more than one bite of!

Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples
  • 80g milk chocolate
  • 6 lollipop sticks
  • 1 tbsp sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Cut the apples into 3 thick slices each. Slice off the round ends so that they lie flat.
  2. Melt the chocolate in the microwave or in a bowl over a pan of boiling water on the hob.
  3. Use a sharp knife to create a small slit in the bottom of each of the apple slices and insert a lollipop stick.
  4. Use a small spoon to coat one side of the apple slices in the melted chocolate and then put on a plate.
  5. Repeat with the remaining apple slices then add some sprinkles to the top.
  6. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes or until the chocolate has hardened.

Notes

These apple slices are best eaten on the same day that they are made.
