Description
Chocolate Apple Slices. A great alternative to those big chocolate or toffee apples that kids love but never seem to eat more than one bite of!
Ingredients
- 2 medium apples
- 80g milk chocolate
- 6 lollipop sticks
- 1 tbsp sprinkles
Instructions
- Cut the apples into 3 thick slices each. Slice off the round ends so that they lie flat.
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave or in a bowl over a pan of boiling water on the hob.
- Use a sharp knife to create a small slit in the bottom of each of the apple slices and insert a lollipop stick.
- Use a small spoon to coat one side of the apple slices in the melted chocolate and then put on a plate.
- Repeat with the remaining apple slices then add some sprinkles to the top.
- Place in the fridge for 30 minutes or until the chocolate has hardened.
Notes
These apple slices are best eaten on the same day that they are made.
