Make your own natural energy drink with water, fruit and chia seeds!

natural energy drink

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of years you will know that everyone has been talking about the new superfood that is chia seeds.

Packed full of nutrients and antioxidants these powerful little seeds are also a great source of Omega 3 fatty acids and fibre.

It is more usual to cook with chia seeds or to add them to porridge or smoothies but there is also a growing trend of drinking them too!

Add the seeds to water, flavour it with chopped fruit and you have your very own homemade and completely natural energy drink, making it a great alternative to sugary drinks for kids and a fantastic workout drink for adults too!

Check out my short video below showing you just how easy it is to make yourself.
