Description
A simple but tasty Cheese & Tomato Pasta, perfect to add to food flasks for a hot lunch for kids at school or nursery
Ingredients
- 1 tin chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
- 180g pasta
- 60g grated cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Fill a food flask with boiling water, close the lid and leave for 15 minutes to heat the flask.
- Cook the pasta in a saucepan on the hob according to the package instructions.
- Add the tinned tomatoes, oregano, smoked paprika and a little salt and pepper to another saucepan and simmer on low for 10 minutes.
- When the pasta is cooked, drain it and mix with the tomato sauce.
- Remove the water from the food flask and add the pasta, layering it with some grated cheese.
- Add the lid to the food flask immediately to keep the pasta warm.
