Description
Healthy waffles, sweetened only with apple. Brilliant for a nutritious breakfast for the kids.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 small apple
- 1 medium egg
- 3 tbsp self raising flour
- 2 tbsp plain yogurt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- oil or butter for greasing
Instructions
- Grate the apple and add to a bowl with the other ingredients and mix well.
- Grease the waffle maker with some butter or oil.
- Add the mixture and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
These waffles are best served immediately after cooking.
