Description

Healthy waffles, sweetened only with apple. Brilliant for a nutritious breakfast for the kids.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small apple
  • 1 medium egg
  • 3 tbsp self raising flour
  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon 
  • oil or butter for greasing


Instructions

  1. Grate the apple and add to a bowl with the other ingredients and mix well.
  2. Grease the waffle maker with some butter or oil.
  3. Add the mixture and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Serve immediately.

Notes

These waffles are best served immediately after cooking.
