If you're looking for a quick and easy lunch for kids then you need to try my Omelette Toast.

It's simply an omelette mixture poured onto slices of bread and cooked in the airfryer.

Really easy and speedy to make and a great high-protein lunch for kids and us adults too!

Close up on a triangle shaped piece of the omelette toast.

The first step is to crack a couple of eggs into a jug and add some red pepper, spring onion, grated cheese, chopped ham and a little salt and pepper.

These are the omelette toppings I used but you can totally customise to any toppings you and your children like.

Ingredients being added to a clear pyrex jug.

Next, take two slices of bread and use a glass to make indents into the bread, pressing it down.

This creates a space for the omelette mixture to sit on, preventing it from running off the bread and all over your airfryer!

Indents being made in bread with a drinking glass.

Then spray the bread with a little spray oil and add it to the airfryer.

Pour the omelette mixture onto the bread so that it sits in the indents that you made.

Topping added to bread and placed into the airfryer.

Cook at 190c for 8 minutes.

Leave to cool for 1-2 minutes. The toast will be hot and this also helps the omelette to fully set.

Cooked Omelette toast being cut into triangle shaped pieces.

Cut into triangles and serve with chopped fruit and veggies or any other accompaniments your children enjoy.

Which Air Fryer Is The Best?

There's so many different air fryers out there on the market at the moment. Some of the big brand names are expensive but I have been using this Uten 6.5 Litre Air Fryer since last year and I love it.

It's really big, perfect for family sized meals and fits a whole chicken too!
