Make this epic Christmas Leftovers Toasted Sandwich in the airfryer, loaded with turkey, brie, stuffing and cranberry sauce

Toastie cut in half to show cooked ingredients inside.

Controversial opinion maybe but I think I actually prefer Christmas leftovers to the big meal on the day itself. Anyone else?

Maybe it’s because all the hard work is already done and you can just get stuck in creating something delicious with all the leftover food.

This year I made a Christmas Leftovers Toasted Sandwich in the airfryer for the first time and wow it was incredible!

Turkey, Brie, stuffing and Cranberry sauce being added to bread on chopping board.

There’s no hard and fast rules when it comes to toasties but I started with cranberry sauce and then added some brie.

Toastie being constructed.

Next I added slices of turkey and stuffing and spread some mayonnaise on the other slice of bread.

Pop into the airfryer, spray with spray oil and cook for 5 minutes on one side.

Turn it over, spray the other side with oil and cook for another 4 minutes.

Toastie placed in the air fryer ready for cooking.

And that’s it! The bread becomes golden and crispy on the outside and the cheese melts beautifully on the inside.

Toastie being cut in half.

If you don’t have an airfryer you can create the same effect for frying it in an frying pan over a very low heat.

Love this idea so much, I hate food going to waste. So this was a great way to use everything up and also great comfort food. Thank you.
